The Seghesio Zinfandel from Sonoma County features dusty plum, black cherry and herbal aromas. Those same characteristics are found on the palate and joined by pepper and licorice flavors. Some tasters observed coffee, oak and vanilla characteristics. This is a very good medium bodied wine that most Zinfanatics should enjoy.
